Founding Technology Sponsorship · Proposal

Why Lovable Should Help Create the Next Generation of No-Code Builders.

The deathcare industry is underserved by software and largely unbuilt by its own professionals. A guided hackathon inside ICCFA Experience 2027 would put Lovable in front of several hundred business owners at the exact moment they discover they can build.

The opportunity

A large, practical industry that has never been invited to build.

ICCFA represents funeral service, cemetery, cremation, and pet aftercare businesses across North America. These are operating businesses with real operational problems and almost no in-house development capability.

Underserved by software

Most tools in this space are inherited vendor systems. The problems members describe are specific, recurring, and rarely on anyone’s road map.

High business density

The conference concentrates owners and operators of small businesses in one room for three days — people who decide what their firm buys and builds.

Almost no prior exposure

Very few attendees have tried AI-assisted app building. That makes this a genuine introduction rather than a pitch into a crowded field.

What we propose

What we would ask Lovable to provide.

Every item below is a request, not an agreement. Nothing has been discussed with Lovable, and no credits, staff time, branding, or promotion have been committed.

Build credits

Complimentary credits for approved participants, proposed at 100 credits per participant across roughly 100 participants.

Approximately 10,000 credits total, subject to Lovable’s review and approval.

Mentor and ambassador participation

Lovable team members or ambassadors available for questions during the build sessions, in person or remotely.

Availability and format to be agreed.

Learning resources

Recommended onboarding materials, tutorials, and starter patterns so first-time builders are productive on day one.

Content selection to be agreed with Lovable.

Onboarding and introductory workshop

A short introductory session covering how to describe a problem clearly and iterate on the result.

Session length and staffing to be agreed.

Showcase presence

An opportunity to introduce the platform at the opening session and be present for the final showcase.

Placement subject to conference programming.

Outcome reporting

A post-event report covering participation, prototypes built, and themes for the association and the sponsor.

Format to be agreed.

Credit quantities shown are illustrative planning figures for a pilot of 75–100 participants (proposed) participants. They are not an offer, a quote, or a statement of Lovable’s pricing.

What Lovable would receive

Why this is worth more than a booth.

Sponsorship of a working event produces something a sponsorship normally can’t: evidence that the platform works for people who had never used it.

Category introduction

Positioning as the platform that brought accessible app building to a professional association of funeral service, cemetery, cremation, and pet aftercare businesses.

Genuine new builders

Every participant is likely a first-time builder. People who finish a working prototype in three days have a reason to keep building afterward.

Concrete use cases

Six tracks of documented real-world problems and the prototypes built against them — a record of what this industry actually asks a tool to do.

Credible case material

Permission to document the event, the teams, and the outcomes for future case studies and conference material, subject to participant consent.

Association relationship

A direct line into ICCFA’s member network and future programming, opened by a sponsor that made participation possible.

Why this fits

The people with the clearest problem descriptions have never been given the tool.

Deathcare professionals spend their lives describing arrangements, compliance steps, and family needs precisely. That is the skill AI app building rewards. What they have lacked is a reason to try it and credits to try it with.

“The first time someone builds something that solves a problem they’ve lived with for twenty years, they don’t go back to thinking of software as something that happens to them.”

Proposed next steps

Where the conversation would go.

A sequence for discussion. Each step requires agreement from the relevant party before the next one is scheduled.

  3. 03Confirm available credit quantity and support format
  4. 04Agree branding, promotion, and event presence
  5. 05Develop participant onboarding materials
  6. 06Confirm pilot capacity and program details
